At the next Confusion the Caterpie fell, just as it hit Ralts, who took some damage.

Zeke finally had reached Wistaria. He located the Pokemon Center and rested there a bit. He had his team healed there and started back on the route. To catch and train.

You walk back down the route and notice a small caterpillar, and it squirms across the ground. You notice it's a Caterpie!

Another Caterpie .... Zeke shuddered a bit. Ralts should be able to take care of it.

"Ralts, go!" Zeke threw the pokeball containing his Ralts. Ralts appeared in a flash of light. Zeke's eyes were still adjusting to that. "Use confusion!"

This Caterpie was extremely weak and it hit the ground in one attack.

Zeke left the Caterpie on the ground. He felt bad for not catching it and leaving it damaged on the ground. Zeke located a nearby Berry bush and picked a few berries to feed to the Caterpie.

Zeke started picking a lot of berries off the bushes to give to pokemon he defeated in battle. They weren't berries that actually made pokemon healthy, more like a belly filler.

As you plucked the berries, you notice a peach hand start doing the same. You at first think it is a Pokémon, but you notice an Aipom beside you, plucking berries.

Hmmm ... an Aipom .... Zeke remembered seeing one on a mission he had in Magma once. Zeke picked a few more berries, then picked out a pokemon from his small collection.

"Go, Mankey!" Zeke threw out a pokeball holding his new Mankey. "Use Low Kick!"

Mankey nodded, ran forward, and low-kicked the Aipom. It flew backwards, panting and it used Tail Whip, then ran forward at Mankey, preparing to Tackle it.

(Since Covet steals items the other pokemon has *and damaging the enemy pokemon of course*, the Aipom should get me some of the berries it was picking. But if you want to give me something like an Oran Berry, that would be nice, too Razz

Mankey nodded and snatched one of the Oran Berries that the Aipom was holding, while also dealing slight damage. The Aipom finished off it's tackle however, but slipped on the berries that it dropped and was KO'ed.

Zeke threw a pokeball at the Aipom, hoping he'd have yet another successful catch.

Teeter. Teeter... POP! The Aipom jumped out of the ball! You scoop up the Pokeball, but it appears to be broken, so you leave it and attempt to weaken the Aipom some more.

Mankey Low-Kicked the Aipom again, but this time it was ready and it smacked Mankey with a tail-tackle before Mankey could get close. Mankey wasn't KO'ed, but it was clearly tired. It might be a good time to switch out.

He called back his Mankey and sent out his Caterpie. "Caterpie, use String Shot!"

Ralts nodded, used Confusion and the Aipom dropped to the ground.
