Wistaria: The First Gym!

"Chernov, on my go, jump out of the tree and release the energy, OK?"

Redey waited a bit.

"GO!"

Chernov jumped out of the tree and blasted out the energy. The other Seedot did as well, but Chernov's overpowered it and made it hit a tree and it was KO'ed.

(Chernov grew to Lv. 8! )

"Good going, Chernov! Yeah! But you're so tired..... we have to get you to the Pokemon Center, and fast."

Redey picked Chernov up.

"Let's go, buddy."

Chernov nodded at you and you run back to Greentop to heal, and soon you fall asleep waiting. It is soon the next day and you head back to the Wistaria Forest.

"All right, Chernov, Redey, come out!"

Redey throws their Pokeballs into the air.

"Listen guys, I'm thinking about challenging that Gym tommorrow, so we need to get a little stronger before we can challenge it. You guys are going to do one battle each, and lets see if we can't get you any stronger, eh? So Chernov, you're first."

Chernov and Redey nodded. Chernov stepped up as a Sunkern waddled out of the grass, not noticing Chernov at first, but then turned and was prepared to battle.

"All right Chernov, before you use Bide, get on top of the tree! Then begin to use Bide!"

Chernov scrambled up the tree, and hanging off of it by a stem, it began to charge. The Sunkern sunk it's roots into the ground, it was stuck there, but it was also gaining HP. It then used growth to build itself up.

"Chernov, get in a upright position, one where you can pounce on Sunkern, then use your Bide attack!"

Chernov nodded, got into position then blasted out of the tree and released it's energy, smacking the Sunkern.
Sunkern returned with Absorb, gaining some more HP. It also gained more with it's ingrained roots. It couldn't attack long distance because of the Ingrain.

(you can use two pokemon at once if you like)

"Chernov, you'll need some help, so I'm sending Redey in! Get out there Redey, and back Chernov up, use Tackle while Chernov charges up again!"

Chernov began to charge while Chikorita tackled the Sunkern, but quickly backed up so it couldn't be attacked. Chernov released it's energy and KO'ed the Sunkern.

Chernov grew to Lv. 9~

"Good job Chernov! You too, Redey! You guys are awesome! You pulled through, now, we are almost ready for the Gym Challenge!"

They nod and a small Wurmple scuttles up to you and begins to charge.

"All right, Chernov, Redey, stand by and fight! Redey, you use Tackle, Seedot, use Bide!"

Redey ran forward, he and the Wurmple conking heads. They both hit the ground, and both managed to stand up. Chikorita awaited your next command while Wurmple used String Shot on Chikorita. Chernov was storing his energy.

"Redey, break free and use Tackle again! Chernov, it's time!"

Redey struggled and finally ripped off the string shot. Chernov blasted and smacked the Wurmple into a tree, KO'ing it.

"Yeah good job guys!"

(Chikorita grew to Lv. 9!
Seedot grew to Lv. 10!)

"Chikko!" Redey cried happily. "Seedot! See!" Chernov smiled up at you. But then, an Aipom jumped out, snatched your hat and ran. Redey and Chernov dash after it and tackle it, getting your hat back. The Aipom appears to want to battle you.

"Aipom, you tricky rascall! I'll teach you a lesson! Redey, use Growl, Chernov, Bide!"

Redey growled at the Aipom while Chernov began to store energy. The Aipom replied with a Double Hit, smacking Chikorita and Seedot. You whip out your Pokedex to find that if this Aipom were to level up it would evolve, because it knew Double Hit. It might be good to catch it!

(I feel generous)

"WOAH IT KNOWS DOUBLE-HIT?! Gah I feel so stupid for scolding it..... all right, Redey use Tackle! Seedot, time for Bide!"

Redey nodded and attempted to tackle the Aipom who returned and smacked Chikorita away with Double Hit. Chernov used Bide, and this, being a long distance attack, could not be stopped by double hit. It slammed into the Aipom, who stumbled but continued to fight. It ran forward, blinded Redey and Chernov with sand-attack, then scratched them both.

"This one's a toughie! Come on guys I believe in you, Chikorita, use Tackle once more! Chernov, time to use Bide again!"
