Wistaria: The First Gym!

Chikorita attempted to tackle, and this time snuck around and tackled the Aipom from behind. Seedot stored energy, but it seemed to be getting much better at doing so, as it used it only after a few seconds. As soon as Chikorita was out of the way, Seedot released the bide and KO'ed the Aipom.

(Catch, right?)

"GO, POKEBALL!"

Teeter. Teeter. Click~

Aipom:

"Good job guys! WE JUST CAUGHT, AN AIPOM!"

"Seedot, see!"

"Chikko, chikko!"

"All right, Aipom, come on.... out!"

Redey throws Aipom's Pokeball.

"All right, Aipom! You put up a nice fight, and now, I'm going to give you a nickname."

Redey remembers how they met the Aipom.

"I know, how about "Snatchy,". So, Snatchy, let's go train!"

Snatchy nods. It approves of it's new nickname. As you walk a small Caterpie waddles up to you, ready to battle.

((Ohhh man I'd really like to catch this baby but I want Aipom to evolve, so sorry Caterpie.))

"This'll be a snap, go on, all of you!"

"Redey, Tackle! Snatchy, Scratch! Seedot, Bide!"

Redey ran forward, smacked into the Caterpie, followed by a Scratch, then a Bide, which again released quickly. The Caterpie was down for the count.

((EXP but if I run into another it's going to be a catch))

"YEAH WE DID IT!"

(WHAT? AIPOM IS EVOLVIN' YO!

Redey grew to Lv. 9

Chernov grew to Lv. 10

If you level up Redey one more you should be ready to take on Alexandra~)

"Chikko!" "See!" "Ambi!"

ALL RIGHT! I JUST GOT, AN AMBIPOM!"

"Now you guys, we'll just do one more battle, but Redey, I need to see your potential, 'kay? So let's see if we can find someone!"

(Chikorita learned Razor Leaf, btw)

An Abra appeared in front of you for a moment, but then teleported away. A Kricketot hopped in front of you. It didn't like you at all and wanted to battle.

"Awww I wanted that Abra.... oh well. It's better than nothing. Redey, GO!"

"Chikko, chikko!"

"Redey, use Razor Leaf, then tackle it!"

Redey nodded and whisked out some leaves that blasted the Kricketot back. It then ran forward, tackled it and then was hit with a return Tackle from the bug.

"Redey use Razor Leaf one more time!"

Redey attacked and this time the Razor Leaf sliced the Wurmple in half, leaving guts and blood on the forest floor

Redey nodded and fired off another Razor Leaf, Ko'ing the Wurmple.

(I'm assuming you want EXP, so Redey grew to Lv. 10)

"Yeah, good job Redey! Now we can finally challenge that gym!"

Your Pokémon cheer and they run forward, you chasing after them. You finally arrive in Wistaria. The city surrounds you, a small map shows the directions to both the Contest Hall and Gym.

"Come on guys, let's make our way to that gym."

You arrive at the gym, much to your surprise, it's completely dark, like a tent.
