PO is a battle simulator where you can create teams out of thin air and pit them against other peoples team. It's like completive battling online with any team however you choose. Perfect Ivs are normal you can EV them any way you want with any move set (as long as they can learn the moves) You can make them all shiny if you want you can pick their natures and ability.... everything. It is a fun way to meet people and just have fun you can also compete against people in Tournaments. That is mainly what PO is.

Common "Lingo" (love that word lol): tiers are how pokemon are ranked there are 5 tiers that are mainly used
Uber: Examples Mewtwo,Giratina, Wobbofet, Salamence, and Garchomp
OU(overused): Scizor, Dusknoir, Gengar, Infernape, and Blissy
UU(underused): NidoKing, NidoQueen, Aimbipom, Arcanine, Blastoise
NU(Neverused): Charizard, ditto, Dodrio, Exploud, and Pikachu

Little Cup(LC) is kinda harder to explain there are many rules to it but it is VERY fun.
Examples of LC: Phanphy, Mewowth, Machop, Gastly, and bellsprout
First of all all pokemon have to be baby pokemon (aka nfe [not fully evolved])
all have to be lv 5
Sleep clause-on
Species clause-on
Self KO-on
Evasion clause-on
item clause-off
Sonicboom and dragon rage is banned
Deepsea tooth is banned

Banned pokemon: Scyther, Murkrow, Meditite, Tangla, Yanma and Sneasal
The Evs are different than the regular metagame, but l'm not sure how it works very well, but teh extra points are nice even if it may not seem like it (l have to give credit to Smogon for some if not all the info about LC l knew most of it but some l ned to look up)



One last tier that is CC(challenge cup) this is a tier that your pokemon are randomly picked for you with random legit moves and a random item(whether the item makes sense or not it doesn't matter =D)

awesome, ive just been playing HeartGold, and when u battle everyone and beat the game things are done, so its nice to be able to have fun and battle people

so ill have to give PO a try
