Zeke's beginning ...

Zeke sat in the backseat of the car, staring out the window. He watched as the trees flew by. Zeke turned a bit. Seeing the same luggage that was there since the beginning of this 7 hour trip. But Greentop Town was finally in view. The car stopped in front of a house.

"This is it, Zeke. Our new home ..." said Zeke's father from the driver's seat.

"Yeah, whatever ..." said Zeke. He feels bad after leaving his friends in Hoenn.

"Oh, sweetie," started his mom, "you'll make new friends soon."

The problem was that all of Zeke's friends he had met were in Team Magma, as was he. Zeke wasn't sure he'd make a friend without joining a team, and he swore he'd never do that again ...

He stepped out of the car lazily and grabbed all his bags. His parents walked in the new house first. Zeke soon after. It was weird seeing the house empty. He slowly walked upstairs with his stuff, sighing heavily. He claimed the first room he went into as his room. He started unpacking his stuff. Clothes, an inflatable bed until he can get a real one, his DS with a copy of Pokemon HeartGold in it ... everything he packed was there. Soon after his parents walked in with the biggest smiles on their face.

"What?" asked Zeke.

"Well, we know how much you wanted a Pokemon, Zeke ... and we picked Greentop to live in for a reason ..." said his dad.

"There's a professor here giving away starter Pokemon. Kind of like Professor Birch back in Hoenn. Too bad we never got to see him, living in Lavaridge ..." his mom said.

Zeke's eyes lit up. Finally, after so long, he'd have a Pokemon that was actually his. "Then ... can i go right now?" Zeke said.

"Well, that's when we scheduled for you to go ..." said his dad.

Zeke's parents handed him a pamphlet for the lab, showing the starters he could receive. Zeke said his goodbyes and wandered around town. Zeke reviewed the pamphlet while walking. He saw a few houses, but one that stood out inparticular ... the lab. He opened door slowly, a bit nervous and trying to make a good first impression.

"Hello?" asked Zeke. "Professor ..." Zeke struggled to remember the professor's name, after only hearing it once from his parents shortly before. "Professor .... Juniper! Are you here? I'm ready for my first pokemon ... a Ralts if you could."

"Oh hi!" a young girl smiles as she skips over to you. "I heard you want a Ralts!" she giggles, takes your hand and pulls you toward the back of the lab. She grabs a stool from a closet, steps on it, then rises up to the counter. She shifts over to a counter marked 'Ralts', grabs a Pokéball, and then, almost falling, comes down. "Here you go!" she says.

Zeke stared at the professor awkwardly for a few seconds. "Ummm .... thanks," he said in a confused tone. Zeke thanked Juniper for the pokemon and tried leaving the lab, when he bumped into someone ...

"Hey! Watch it..." the girl says, but then looks up at you. "Zeke? Is that you? You're starting your Pokémon Journey too?" the girl cries.

(The girl looks like the B&W Female, k? And you choose her name by saying it in the RP)

"Do I .... know you?" asked Zeke. This is one of the first people he's seen in Reione, and she claims to know him.

"Don't you remember me? From back at Team Magma? I met you when you left the headquarters!" she said.

(PS: My character is based off a fanfic i made. I reviewed my fanfic and found 1 name i could use for this ...)

Zeke thought hard. "Scarlet ...?" Zeke looked her body, totally changed from when he last saw her. "Scarlet! What are you doing here?"

"Here for the same reason you are. To start fresh and get away from my old life." Scarelt said smiling. "Though you seem to be quite the same from when I last saw you. So, you up for a battle?"

"I don't see any reason why not to have a battle ..." Zeke took a few steps away and held a pokeball containing his new pokemon inside. "I hope you're as good of a battler as you were in Team Magma," added Zeke, before tossing his pokeball, letting out the Ralts inside with a flashing light.

"Mudkip... take... THE STAGE!" she cried letting her Mudkip appear. "Quick Mudkip! Tackle!"

Ralts took the hit and slide back some. "Ralts, use Confusion!"

Ralts used confusion on the Mudkip, causing it damage. "Mudkip! Growl then Tackle again!" And Mudkip growled and started to charge forward at Ralts, who dodged at the last second.

A smile came across Zeke's face ... he was a little uneasy, but he kept going. "Use Confusion again!"

(PS: i dont get why in the show the trainers have to yell out "USE ____ ATTACK, FULL POWER!" .... why aren't the pokemon using full power to begin with?)

Mudkip was hit by the confusion yet again, and this time it fainted. "Wow, you're good! I'll see you around Zeke!" she called as she returned her Mudkip and ran out of sight.

"Huh .... hyper like always ..." Zeke said to himself. He recalled his Ralts into it's pokeball, then walked home. After a long goodbye with his family, he took off towards the next city ...
