Steven Begins

Steven awoke at his house and yawned. "Yes!! Today is the day! l get my first pokemon! Cant wait till the day gets started and l can get my Ralts!" It was eleven o'clock now and Steven called to his sister."Hey sis, l'm leaving to go get my pokemon now. l finished lunch, so l'm out!"
After walking a short walk, he arrived in Greentop Town. Steven walked through the doors of Professor Juniper's Lab. "Hey Prof. Juniper! l'm here to pick up my first pokemon! l heard that you had a Ralts here. l'd like to have the ralts for my first pokemon!"

"HIYA!" a girl jumps out from a room next to the one you are in. "You came for a Ralts? Follow me!" she skips and takes your hand and pulls you toward the back of the lab.

(Okay, as you can see I write in present tense, which only the mods do. You write in PAST TENSE... k?)

Alright noted and please bare with me a this is my first RP (l'm pretty sure this is a lighted building but for some reason l see this as a dark room with only one light on at the door and as we progress the light turn on x.x)

Steven follows the mysterious girl, who he presumed was Prof. Juniper, and stops at a lab table.
"Yes, l wanted the Ralts..... but um.... who are you? l presume you are the famous Prof. Juniper?"

"Yep! That's me!" the girl smiles and then pulls out a stool from the closet. She climbs atop it and then stands on the counter, unlocks a cabinet and fishes a Pokeball out of it. She climbs down and then hands you the Ralts. "Here!"

"Yes! l got a little late start on my day and l was afraid you would have ran out of Ralts! Thank you very much Prof. Juniper! l finally get my first pokemon in this region! Cant wait to test him out thank you again Prof.Juniper."
Steven tried eagerly to run out of the lab when someone gets in his way and stops him.....

"Move it!" a girl says shoving you out of the way. But then she stops and looks at you. "Steven? Is that you?" she asks looking at you as she helps you up.

"Megan? Is that you? l thought l saw the last of you back at the farm?!?!? What are you doing here?!?! l thought your parents didn't have enough money for the trip here? You had the only pokemon that could beat my growlithe. l wish out of the hours of battles we had l had won once..... Do u still have Lombre or did you leave him back at the farm?

"Nah... Lombre's back at the farm. I only had enough money if I left Lombre to water the crops, so we didn't have to buy a sprinkler system. But what are you doing here? Where's Growlithe?" Megan asked taking off her cap and shaking out her brown hair.

"Hey! What happened to your blond hair! It looks good brown too though. Growlithe is back on the farm l wanted to start fresh and plus whether or not they would admit it, my parents really needed him around for the help. It took him 3 years to realize that, every time l tried to find a boat he would follow me there and never leave till l went home with him. So anything new with you? l'm hopefully going to go to the Grand Festival!

"The Grand Festival? Yeah right! I'll be there taking your spot!" she laughed. "Oh, and I dyed it brown last week, just after you left. My Grandma thought it would look moe natural, go figure." she chuckled. "So, what Pokemon did you get?" she asked, taking out her Pokeball.

"There is NO WAY you would take my spot! l'd knock you out of the Festival on the first round! l like your hair brown. lt does look more natural. l have a Ralts now how about you?"

"Only the most beautiful and most graceful of all the starters. Chikorita! Take the Stage!" she called, doing a sort of spin and her Chikorita rose from the ball and landed gracefully on the ground with a shower of rainbows.

"Ralts steal the spot light!" Ralts came out of the pokeball and floated gently down onto the ground "You are going down Megan! Ralts use Growl!!!"

(You can't have it appear in a flash of colors without purchasing some contest items from the pokemart.)

"Chikorita! Tackle attack!" Megan cried as Chikorita took the growl. It rushed forward and slammed into Ralts, who, though a bit shaken, stood up again.

"Good Ralts you took the tackle nicely now use Confusion!"

The confusion hit Chikorita, but didn't seem to do much damage. "Chikorita! Growl then Tackle!" Megan said, smiling slyly. Chikorita growled at you and then ran forward at Ralts, smacking into it. Ralts flew backwards and slammed into the Lab. It stood and you noticed that both your Ralts and your rival's Chikorita were extremely tired.

"Ok Ralts thats enough. You look very tired Ralts. You did great though, good job. l can tell you will be great in contests! We will win the Festival with no problem at all! Megan your Chikorita wasn't bad either. You just got it right?"

"Yeah! Looks like neither of us won our first battle." Megan shrugged. "At least we got some EXP Points!"

(You gain 3.75 EXP Points. Ralts grew to Level 6!

Yes! My Ralts grew a level now its stronger! Once we train a little you are going down Megan!

"In your dreams short stack!" she laughed as she returned Chikorita to it's ball and ran off.

"Ralts return! You did great!" After Ralts returned, Steven decided to go home and bond with his Ralts some some more before dinner, tehn after dinner bond some more and go to sleep.

You and Ralts sleep well, and then morning comes. You pull your bag on your should and put Ralts in his Pokeball and prepare to set out for Wistaria City.
