Verbana: The second gym!

Redey walked alongside Chernov and Redey as they headed to Verbana.

"I'm so psyched, guys! It's our second gym and I'm boosting for another badge! But first, we must train. Can't beat the Gym Leader if you don't train beforehand!"

Redey walks into a patch of tall grass, hoping to find a Pokemon to battle with.

"SPEAROW!" a bird shouted from behind you, flapping it's wings rapidly. It wanted to battle.

"All right Redey, GO and use Tackle!"

Chikorita nodded, ran forward and smashed into the Spearow, who returned with a Fury Attack, smacking Redey back.

"Redey, jump and use Razor Leaf!"

Redey jumped, whipped it's leaf, launching projectile Razor Leaves at the Spearow, who flew backwards, but got up. It flew off the ground, pecked at Chikorita, knocking him to the ground.

"Man this one's tough. Chernov, GO and use Bide!"

Chernov used bide and quickly smacked the Spearow into a tree, KO'ing it.

"Yeah, good job guys! Now we just need to train against a few more, and we'll be ready!"

(Chikorita grew to Lv. 11
Seedot grew to Lv. 12)

"Come on guys, lets go find more Pokemon!"

Redey wanders into more grass, deeper and longer than the first patch.

"Slash.... slash!" you hear as you see a small hole in front of you. The noise seems to be coming from it.

"Chernov, you can fit in there, see what's in there."

"Seedot" it nods at you and jumps into the hole, only to rush up a few seconds later, panicked. "Seedotttt!" it shrieks as a Sandshrew bursts from the hole.

"Chernov, are you OK? Ergh, use Bide, Chikorita use Razor Leaf!"

Chikorita nodded, whipped out a Razor Leaf that was held with the power of Seedot's Bide, giving double damage. The Sandshrew was weak, for grass did a lot of damage. The Sandshrew returned with a Swift, that smacked into Chikorita and Seedot.

"Chernov, Bide! Redey, Tackle!"

Chikorita rushed forward, and Seedot's bide surrounded him, making it a Super Tackle that KO'ed the Sandshrew.

"You never know.... let's go! Pokeball, GO!"

Sandshrew:

Yeah! We just got... A Sandshrew! Congratulations Sandshrew, on being my fourth partner!"

Redey sends Sandshrew out.

"That was some excellent battling!" came a voice. A person in a white uniform walked out of some trees, clapping. "We could use someone like you in Team Eon. We are a force of officers, and I'd like you to join. What do you say?"

"What's your cause? Do you know feelings for a Pokemon?"

"Our cause is to eradicate the Team Rocket threat in this region. We also help the community in smaller errands," said the person in white. "We've been around shortly after Team Rocket showed up, quite some few years ago. All they've done is cause trouble, and we want peace again."

"You sound very serious.... alright. I'll join you."
